High above Valle Isarco, in the heart of South Tyrol, the houses are gathered tightly around an unconventionally leaning church tower. Possibly, because together they have a stronger hold on this hillside. In the village of Barbiano, where sun and mountains are close enough to touch, the Gantioler family welcomes you to their small family run hotel.
This is the accommodation for all who value honest hospitality. Franz, Frieda, son Alexander and Sarah and their young daughters Emma and Vicky are keen to communicate their homeland to our guests and to share their joy in this piece of land with them.
In Haus an der Luck tradition is being lived - and you become part of it.

Peace and Expansiveness
High above Ponte Gardena and Chiusa the views range to the Dolomites side of Valle Isarco. Small hamlets with church towers, the sublime Trostburg Castle and the silhouette of Sciliar send their greetings across to Barbiano. Looking around you, you find yourself surrounded by fresh green pastures and fields. Ancient chestnut trees line the paths, and every now and then the damson trees with their many forked branches that are typical for Barbiano, vie for the attention of passers-by.

Nature and Adventure
Barbiano is quickly explored, but its small size hides much that is charming. The village is a starting point. For walks through woods and meadows, for long mountain hikes, for mountain biking. The classy town of Bressanone and the historic town of Chiusa are within easy reach. Val Gardena with the breathtaking backdrop of the Sella group mountains, Sassolungo and Odle is worth a day trip. With hiking boots, ski boots or climbing equipment. Valle di Funes with its alpine pastures is waiting to be discovered.
